Ausangate Circuit

The majestic Apu Ausangate is located at 6375 meters above sea level, undoubtedly one of the most imposing snow-capped mountains in Peru for being the highest peak in the Vilcanota mountain range and having huge rock walls and ice blocks. With a 3-day trek. On the Vilcanota mountain range discovering a new and different world that is not inhabited by masses of adventurous travelers, but rather by a great nature just for us, which will show us its most precious treasures such as beautiful glacial lagoons, llamas, vicunas, Alpacas and all its flora in addition to its various customs and traditions that still endure over time. Upon reaching the same snow-capped mountain of Ausangate we will discover the enigmatic charm of this snow-capped mountain for having been one of the most important divinities in the Inca period.

ITINERARY:

The driver will pick up passengers from their hotels at 5.00 a.m., then we will travel for approximately 3 hours. We will arrive at the slopes of the snowy Ausangate where we will settle with a local family in the area, where our cook will offer us our breakfast, then we will have a talk about the horses and security, then we will do a horseback ride and hike for 4 hours approximately along the circuit of 7 lagoons, we will finish in Pacchanta near the thermal baths, where you will relax. Then we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, we return to the city of Cusco.
