Tour Mountain 7 Colors


If you are interested in visiting the Vinincunca or the Mountain of the 7 Colors, it is first necessary to travel (on your own or with a tour) to the beautiful town of Cusipata. From there you can personally purchase the entrance ticket. Then a 6-kilometer walk begins to the so-called “Rainbow Mountain”, one of the best attractions in Peru along with Machu Picchu.

ITINERARY:

Our tour to the 7-color Mountain will begin the recovery of your place of accommodation in the city of Cusco in our tourist mobility around 04:00 to 04:30 am. We will head towards the south side of the city of Cusco passing through picturesque towns whose buildings will dazzle with the variety of cultures that you can observe, as we ascend you will be able to realize the cultural value and beauty of the landscapes, our destination will be the Cusipata district, from here we will go to the small town of Paucarpata where we will enjoy a delicious and energizing breakfast.

After breakfast we will continue in the tourist mobility to Qomer Qocha, from this point we will start our walk towards the Mountain of 7 Colors – Vinicunca, the path will take us about 45 minutes to 1 hour ascent to 5,200 masl. Along the way we can find some South American camelids, residents with their typical costumes and the change in the coloration of the mountains until we reach Vinicunca where we can enjoy the scenery of the entire Vilcanota mountain chain.

After taking some pictures and enjoying the scenic beauty, we return to the parking lot where the transfer will be waiting for us, to return to Paucarpata and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we will return to the city of Cusco where we will be arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
